Early Morning Shooting Sends One Man To The Hospital

A shooting early this morning sends one man to the hospital. Peoria police are reporting a man was found unconscious in his vehicle at the corner of Howette and Jefferson at approximately 3:50 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his head. Authorities say the victim was transported to OSF St. Francis Medical center. His condition is unknown at this time. The case remains under investigation.
