Update From Bears Mini-Camp

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Kellen Davis and Marcus Harrison may have had off-field legal problems in the past. But the Chicago Bears said they have seen none of it in their two-day rookie minicamp at Halas Hall. Coach Lovie Smith says he feels good about the players being good part of the team and fitting in. Arkansas' Harrison was chosen 90th overall. His arrest on felony drug charges likely caused a slide on most draft boards. Surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in 2006 also hurt Harrison. But he says it doesn't matter where you're drafted. Davis was suspended four games his junior year at Michigan State after being arrested for aggravated assault at a party, and went to the Bears in Round 5. He says he wants to establish himself. |
